New Rating Feature
Quality and reliability have always been PROTIQ's top priorities – but of course we can promise you a lot. To make our service and that of our marketplace merchants even more transparent, we have therefore integrated a new feature on the platform: Reviews from our platform customers.
Why did we decide to add this new feature?
The portfolio on the PROTIQ Marketplace is growing and growing: and with it the agony of choice. In order to offer orientation and transparency here, the experiences and opinions of our customers will help others to make the right decisions for them. Customer reviews help you to better evaluate and compare the services of our merchants.
Another important point is the feedback we receive through the reviews. The delivery took too long? Your component turned out different from what you expected? We can learn all of this through the new rating feature and use it to further develop our service and that of our marketplace in general.
Where to find the ratings
You can find the ratings in the configurator under the merchant logos. Here, not only the average of all ratings of the service provider is displayed, but also the number of ratings given to enable a better comparison.

What do the ratings signify?
The ratings are submitted by our PROTIQ Marketplace customers after they have completed their orders. They have then the possibility to give up to 5 stars for the following categories:
- • Communication
- • Delivery Time
- • Product Quality
- • Overall
The rating shown in the configurator is the average of all ratings given, the number of ratings is in brackets behind. The ratings of the merchants are intended as guidelines for our customers to better orient themselves in our constantly growing portfolio of service providers. At the same time, each rating is of course an individual assessment of the respective project - and there are different challenges for each component, especially in the field of additive manufacturing. Therefore, if in doubt, please contact us at an early stage to discuss the general feasibility and any problems that may arise.
How to rate a merchant
The rating feature is part of our PROTIQ buyer protection. When you order on our platform, you can in the last order step select whether you want to take advantage of the free buyer protection. You will then receive a one-time e-mail from us asking you to share your experience. The ratings will then be added to the profile of the particular merchant. A little tip: If you have clicked the wrong rating, you can adjust your review via the original link in the email notification.
