Become a PROTIQ Marketplace merchant
Utilise all the advantages of e-commerce without having to worry about risks and disadvantages. We provide you with our infrastructure, which has been developed on the basis of many years of experience with industrial customers. In addition to administrative tasks, we also offer our partners marketing measures and support with technical and platform issues. Our marketplace is continuously being expanded with new functions, both on the basis of customer requirements and the wishes and feedback of our merchants. The PROTIQ Marketplace is therefore an ideal way to showcase your manufacturing expertise and open up new business opportunities.
How to become a PROTIQ Marketplace merchant
1. Contact form
To become part of the PROTIQ Marketplace, we first need basic information from you about your company, your machinery and your materials. To make this process as simple as possible, we have prepared a contact form for potential merchants.
2. Feedback with more detailed information
In the next step, we will process your enquiry and give you feedback on possible cooperation. Please note that we at PROTIQ attach great importance to the high quality of our merchants and a wide range of materials and processes. For this reason, we are unfortunately unable to accept every enquiry. However, if your company is a good fit for our platform, we will send you basic information about the PROTIQ Marketplace, its functions, requirements and possibilities in the next step.
3. Non-disclosure agreement
Security is a top priority at PROTIQ. In order to ensure that the content discussed is treated confidentially in the further course of the discussions, we will send you our non-disclosure agreement to sign. So that you know what to expect, you can view the document here in advance

4. Start of the onboarding process
The onboarding process begins with an introductory meeting (usually online) and a discussion of all the necessary steps and topics to get started on the PROTIQ Marketplace. This includes:
Certifications: Ideally, you are certified according to ISO 9001. If this is not (yet) the case, PROTIQ can carry out its own audit in exceptional cases.
Target customers: Both B2B and B2C customers can place orders on the PROTIQ Marketplace. If you only specialise in business customers, you can also choose to exclude private customers from your offer - whatever suits you best.
Calculation: On the PROTIQ Marketplace, you naturally have the option of storing your own calculations for your processes, materials and finishing options. We provide you with a calculation template for this purpose, but at no time do we have any insight into your pricing. The stored data is used to calculate the prices for each component individually and enables customers to compare the offers of the various merchants transparently.
Merchant profile: As a merchant on the PROTIQ Marketplace, you receive your own profile on which you can present your company and your offer. Here you can publish a company description, areas of specialisation, your own documents, blog posts and images. You can find an overview of all provider profiles here.
Your own documents: To make processing via the PROTIQ Marketplace as easy as possible for you, we give you the option of using your own documents. These include your own order confirmations, invoices or delivery notes, as well as your own material data sheets.
Filter data: During the ordering process, our customers have the option of narrowing down the wide range of materials and processes using specific filters. To ensure that your offer is also taken into account in the filter utilisation, you can store special characteristic values for your materials - and thus be displayed to exactly those customers who are looking for your service.
Marketing: In addition to your presence on our platform, we also support you in marketing. This includes social media posts, joint articles, projects and the opportunity to appear together at certain trade fairs.
After the onboarding meeting, you will receive a summary of all the topics discussed, the conditions and a summarised version of the scope of functions.
5. Activation of merchant backend
Following the first onboarding meeting, your personal merchant backend will be activated. Here you now need to enter your company data, define materials, desired payment methods, shipping rules and service providers and complete your merchant profile. We always endeavour to make the onboarding process as quick and easy as possible. If you have any questions or problems during this phase, the PROTIQ team will be happy to help and advise you.
6. Preparation PROTIQ Purchase
While you are filling your merchant backend and preparing for the launch, we will have you set up as a supplier with us. This enables our customers to order from you later via PROTIQ Purchase.
PROTIQ Purchase is an optional procurement service on the PROTIQ Marketplace that allows customers to order from all merchants on the marketplace and still receive an invoice from PROTIQ. This makes it possible, especially for large companies with complex supplier investment processes, to utilise the full range of the marketplace.
