PROTIQ meets the TISAX® standard
PROTIQ GmbH meets highest requirements for information security
PROTIQ has successfully passed the TISAX assessment, proving that the company meets the particularly high information security requirements of the automotive industry.
What is TISAX?
TISAX is short for "Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange" and is a standard administered by the ENX Association. It is an internationally recognised information security standard that was developed specifically for the high demands of the automotive industry. TISAX is based on ISO/IEC 27001, a standard for information security management systems (ISMS).
In order to meet the TISAX standard, a company must go through the assessment by an accredited assessment provider (AP) who verifies compliance with the TISAX requirements. After the successful audit, the company receives its audit results, which serve as evidence of the company's commitment to information security and can be shared with potential business partners and customers.
In the automotive industry, TISAX has become an established standard and many companies require their business partners and suppliers to comply with this standard to ensure the security of shared information and minimise risks.
Why is TISAX relevant for PROTIQ?
Information security is important for a manufacturing service provider for several reasons. Firstly, sensitive and confidential data is often processed during production, for example detailed design drawings or prototype data.
On the other hand, many companies that use 3D printing services use these components in security-relevant areas, for example in automotive manufacturing or in the aerospace industry. Therefore, service providers such as PROTIQ must ensure that their production processes and information are protected from unauthorised access to guarantee the security and integrity of the end products.
By successfully passing the TISAX assessment, PROTIQ has positioned itself as a trustworthy partner for automotive suppliers, manufacturers and all other companies that value the highest level of information security.
"Security in the handling of customer data is a top priority for us. We want our customers to know that their shared know-how is in safe hands with us. By complying with the TISAX standard, our customers can now officially rely on us to handle their data and prototypes securely," emphasises Artjom Dsuban, Quality Manager at PROTIQ.
The audit results now certify PROTIQ as having high levels of information security for 3 years and will then be reviewed by a re-audit. The results can be viewed on the ENX portal: enx.com/tisax
