Increase in production capacity at PROTIQ

PROTIQ's machine park continues to grow. Recently, the equipment portfolio for the production of plastic parts in selective laser sintering includes a brand new Farsoon HT403P.

With the introduction of the latest manufacturing system in its portfolio, PROTIQ is expanding both its production capacity and the future range of materials from which customers can choose when placing their orders. With its build space of 400 x 400 x 540 mm, the new laser sintering system primarily enables the production of large-volume customer components, now even faster than before, as the HT403P is characterized by a very high building rate in the manufacturing process. This enables PROTIQ to continue meeting the growing demand for additively manufactured, high-precision plastic components with fast production and very short delivery times. The fact that this speed is essential has recently been demonstrated by PROTIQ in the production of articles in the fight against the Corona virus.

The production of plastic components using selective laser sintering has long since ceased to be a pure prototype business. The manufacturing technology and the materials available on the market now enable economical serial production, purely additively.
