We are a Med-Tech Innovation Awards 2022 finalist with our AM solution for orthopedic shoe lasts in the category 3D printing!

About our Solution

Our intuitive shoe last configurator uses trinckle’s paramate automated design software and innovative BASF Forward AM TPU material to create 3D printed custom lasts. This is enabling orthopedic shoemakers to reduce production time from a few weeks to a few days compared to traditional techniques.

About the Award

Entrants should demonstrate how the use of 3D printing can enhance or fundamentally improve the design or manufacture of medical devices. This could be as a design development aid, a manufacturing jig or fixture, or the additive manufacture of end-use products.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony, taking place on 8th June 2022 in Birmingham - so keep your fingers crossed for us!
