PROTIQ Marketplace introduces a new partner: PROTIQ USA

Plastic innovations hot from the 3D printer – we would like to welcome PROTIQ USA as the latest partner on our online marketplace for additive manufacturing.

Small industrial revolutions are being printed in Middletown, Pennsylvania. The team under Bruce Desmond, Manager of Corporate Technology at Phoenix Contact in the USA, has been specialized in 3D plastic printing since 2011. Last year, the company secured a major expansion to its production capacities with an important new acquisition: with its EOS Formiga P 110 laser sinter system, PROTIQ USA manufactures high-resolution, precise plastic parts for its industry customers. The expertise of the American 3D printing provider is now available on the PROTIQ Marketplace.

For PROTIQ, the branch in Middletown, Pennsylvania, represents a major step on its path towards internationalization: "In industrial environments, the requirements placed on quality and speed in production are especially strict. This is why being close to customers despite our optimized online platform is a major success factor," states Clemens Boesen, Head of Production at PROTIQ. "We regularly receive requests from the U.S. Now, they can be directed to our American colleagues, who are familiar with the local market requirements.” For the medium term, PROTIQ plans to integrate further highly qualified 3D printing service providers on the marketplace to best prepare for future projects.
