stl (Standard Triangulation Language)

An industry standard for data used in 3D printing. The 3D bodies are represented as a surface model consisting of triangular facets. The triangles are described by the three associated corner points and the surface standards pointing the way from the volume. Technical data such as material properties, unit or color are not available in STL format.
