SDL

SDL is an abbreviation for selective deposition lamination. In the 3D printing process, layers of paper and adhesive are stuck together with a heated roller. A blade (cutting plotter) cuts each layer to the specified shape. SDL print objects can be made from simple A4 paper and have wood-like properties. The technology is used, for example, to make photo-realistic models and geodata.
