Extrusion

Extrusion is a process in which material is pushed through a nozzle to form continuous shapes. In additive manufacturing, especially in FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling), extrusion refers to the deposition of melted thermoplastic filament layer by layer to build a 3D object. The quality of extrusion affects dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and mechanical properties.
