New 3D printing system for PROTIQ

PROTIQ's equipment range continues to grow rapidly. After another 3D printing system for selective laser melting (EOS M 290) was commissioned at the Blomberg site at the start of the year, we are now expanding production capacity for plastic printing.

Two new EOS P 396 laser sintering systems are now available to PROTIQ GmbH for the production of sophisticated plastic parts. Dr. Ralf Gärtner, Managing Director of PROTIQ, sees the new acquisitions as an investment that will already pay off in the short term: "The demand for additively manufactured plastic workpieces continues to show unbridled growth. Many components that were once made of metal are made of plastic today."

The new selective laser sintering systems offer both additional capacities and additional advantages: Compared to the previous version EOSINT P 395, the P 396 enables significantly more efficient process control and a higher build rate. Production Manager, Clemens Boesen, is enthusiastic about the two newcomers: "Alongside maximum quality, the most important thing in the industry is speed. If you want to remain competitive, you need to bring your innovations onto the market faster than the competition. That is why we always offer our customers state-of-the-art technology."
