AddiMap: The full potential of metal 3D printing
Discover AddiMap and utilise the full potential of metal 3D printing
An online marketplace that introduces another online marketplace? Sounds strange, but it makes perfect sense. In addition to the further development of our own platform, we would also like to draw your attention to other innovative solutions in the AM world - and AddiMap is certainly innovative. It is a digital marketplace that takes the potential of metal 3D printing to a new level. We explain how it works and why you could benefit from it too.
AddiMap at a glance
AddiMap is the result of a partnership between Rosswag Engineering and NuCOS. Rosswag, a pioneer in the production of more than 100,000 metal AM parts, has combined its extensive expertise with NuCOS, a full-stack software company. The result is a digital B2B platform that makes metal 3D printing process parameters and material data tradable and offers a unique opportunity to accelerate the industrialisation and democratisation of metal 3D printing.
The AddiMap marketplace
The centrepiece of AddiMap is the online marketplace where validated process parameters and material data are traded. The focus here is on reducing inefficiencies in LPBF process parameter development projects. Instead of spending weeks carrying out your own test series, you can immediately access existing and optimised parameters on this marketplace. This enables faster deployment and increased productivity of your AM systems without having to make large investments. Thanks to the marketplace concept, validated process parameters are offered from as little as €2,000 to around €15,000 and are therefore significantly cheaper than in-house qualification.
The marketplace also opens up new business models for data providers: they can offer parameters and material data for sale via AddiMap in order to amortise their own development costs or monetise unused data.
Benefits for PROTIQ partners
For providers and partners of the PROTIQ Marketplace, AddiMap's offering provides several opportunities to organise their own processes more efficiently.
• Faster time to market: With access to proven process parameters and material data, you can bring your products to market faster.
• Cost savings: Avoiding time-consuming in-house parameter development not only saves time, but also money.
• Promoting innovation: By focussing on new applications and innovations, you can drive the growth of your AM technology.
In order to make these advantages available to an even wider audience and at the same time utilise joint know-how and complementary expertise, there will be joint projects between AddiMap and the PROTIQ Marketplace in the future - you can look forward to this partnership.
Cooperation between AddiMap and PROTIQ
If you visit us at the PROTIQ Marketplace stand at Formnext 2023 (Hall 12.1, Stand E79), why not also make a detour to AddiMap (Hall 12.0, Stand C38)? This is the perfect opportunity to find out all about the possibilities of digital AM platforms and utilise the benefits for your company. But even if you are not in Frankfurt, you will be able to easily benefit from the services of both marketplaces in the future: By intensifying our collaboration, you will soon also find Rosswag Engineering's manufacturing services and access to AddiMap's parameters on the PROTIQ Marketplace. In this way, not only our marketplace providers and other manufacturing service providers, but also our customers can benefit from the combined portfolio.
